Daniel Tovar Nieto

 

Daniel is a serial entrepreneur who has co-founded multiple companies in Mexico and the U.S., ranging from manufacturing to business consulting, to security, to clinical laboratories, to commercial real estate. Currently, he is co-founder and CEO of Crestera Capital, an investment fund targeting Latin American investments in the U.S. market. He also remains as co-owner and board member of PROESA, an international group of healthcare companies focused on providing reliable and cost-effective clinical analysis in Spain and Latin America.

 

Daniel holds an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM), a graduate degree in Creativity Applied to Business from the Universidad De Santiago de Compostela in Spain, and currently is finishing work on a Doctorate from Universidad Antonio de NEBRIJA in Madrid. Born in Dallas, he has lived most of his life in Mexico, France and Spain. 

 

Daniel and his wife Miriam have four children, and live in Frisco, Texas. He is a member of the Dallas chapter of Asociacion de Empresarios Mexicanos (AEM), the Asociacion Mexicana de Propietarios de Laboratorios Clínicos (AMPLC), and the Consejo Mexicanos de Empresas de Diagnostico Medico (COMED). He taught young entrepreneurs and MBA students at three of the top universities in Mexico for 14 years, and is a graduate of NALA23.
